Your account and the portal
Two places to manage things, and the simple rule for which one you want.
Store adminsThere are two admin surfaces, and the difference is only ever how many stores you are looking at.
Your account
One store's screens, reached from that store's own address. Where you spend almost all of your time.
/account
The portal
The same screens with a store picker in front of them, for anybody who oversees several.
/portal
The screens themselves are identical. If you administer a single store, the portal would only add a step, so it sends you straight to that store instead.
What you will find there
The screens sit in five sections. The top row of the menu picks the section; the row beneath it picks the screen, and shows up only where a section holds more than one.
| Section | Screen | What it is for |
|---|---|---|
| Overview | Overview | How the store is doing, at a glance. |
| Orders | Orders | Every order, with detail, tracking and export. |
| Orders | Approvals | Orders waiting on somebody's decision. |
| People | Team | Who can sign in, what they can do, who they report to. |
| People | Hierarchy | The same people as a chart of who reports to whom. |
| People | Store credit | Balances your people can spend. |
| Reporting | Reporting | Spend and stock. |
| Settings | Checkout fields | The values behind the extra questions your store asks. |
| Settings | Ship-to addresses | Saved destinations buyers choose from. |
| Settings | Decorations | The artwork your store puts on its products. |
| Settings | Page access | Which roles may open which pages. |
| Settings | Payment access | Which roles may pick which way of paying. |
