Payment access

Your store's ways of paying are set up by us — a card checkout, a purchase order, a method billed to your organisation against a code your people enter. By default anybody who can reach the checkout can pick any of them.

Under Settings, open Payment access. There you can name, for a method, which roles may choose it. The usual reason: a method that bills your organisation belongs to the people authorised to spend against it, while everybody else pays by card on the same store.

Three rules, and that is all of them

1. A method with no rule is open. Which is every method, until you say otherwise. Nothing changes until you ask for it.
2. Admins always pass. Your store's admins and our support staff can pick any method whatever the rule says, so you cannot lock yourself out of one.
3. A restricted method is not shown at all. Somebody who may not use it does not see it on the checkout, rather than seeing it and being turned away at the end.
