What Storefront is
One platform running every online store Bacon & Co builds — popup shops, uniform programs and print-to-order stores.
Storefront is the platform every online store we build for you runs on. A team shop that opens for three weeks, a uniform program serving a thousand employees, and a print-to-order store that never closes are all the same software with different settings.
That matters more than it sounds. It means the store you open next year gets everything we have built since, without anybody migrating anything.
The three shapes of store
| Kind | What it is for | How it usually runs |
|---|---|---|
| Popup | A team, event or seasonal drop with a closing date. | Open to anyone with the link. Orders go into production together once it closes. |
| Uniform program | Staff ordering the clothing they are issued. | Sign-in required, roles and approvals, often billed to the company rather than the employee. |
| Print to order | A catalogue that stays open and makes each item on demand. | Always on. Nothing is held in stock waiting to be bought. |
Your store has its own address
Every store lives at its own web address and shows only its own products, prices and people. Nothing on one store is reachable from another — not a product, not an order, not a member of your team.
That separation is enforced in the platform itself rather than by careful configuration, which is why we are comfortable running hundreds of stores side by side.
Who does what
Bacon & Co sets up
The things that decide what a store is — its products, prices, branding, which payment methods it offers, and which extra questions it asks.
