Signing in
How accounts work, what to do when you have forgotten your password, and why there is no magic link.
You sign in with an email address and a password. That is the only way in, on every store and on the portal.
Your first sign-in
- 1
Open the invitation
Your emailWhen somebody adds you, you get an email with a link to your store's sign-in page.
- 2
Prove your address
Sign-in pageAsk for a code, and we email you a six-digit one. This is the only thing the code does — it confirms the address is yours.
- 3
Set a password
Sign-in pageChoose a password. From then on, that is how you sign in.
Forgotten password
Choose Forgot your password on the sign-in page. You get a code by email, and once you have entered it you can set a new password. Nobody — including us — can read your old one.
If you administer a store, you can also set a password on behalf of somebody on your team. See Your team and their roles.
Some stores need no account at all
A popup shop is usually open to anyone with the link — no account, no password, nothing to set up. You order, and the confirmation email carries a private link back to your order whenever you want to check on it.
Whether a store asks for a sign-in is a decision made when it is built, and it can be changed later.
